Blair Drummond Safari Park, one of Scotland’s top visitor attractions, has announced the cloud ticketing and audience engagement company SECUTIX as its new ticketing technology partner.

Based near Stirling, Blair Drummond is home to over 300 different rare and exotic animals and every year welcomes over 400,000 visitors annually. The agreement with SECUTIX will see the use of its S-360 solution, a cloud-based platform, to manage both general admission and membership tickets.

The partnership will also provide access control tools to help direct and regulate the flow of visitors to the park and gain valuable insights into visitor behaviour as they move around it.

Hector Muir, Director of Blair Drummond Safari Park, said:

“We were somewhat restricted by our old ticketing solution with one system for ticketing and a separate one for membership. Bringing these together on one platform, alongside their analytics, marketing and commerce tools, was a key reason for choosing SECUTIX. We now have full control over our ticketing and will get a much better understanding of our visitors’ needs.”

David Hornby, Managing Director Northern Europe, UK and Ireland at SECUTIX, added:

“We’re delighted that our first park client in the UK is the best safari park in Scotland. Hector and his team are forward-thinking, wanting to digitalise their ticketing operations, and we look forward to working with them in driving business growth.”

Blair Drummond Safari Park reopens on 18th March. General Admission and Membership packages are on sale now.
